Cinematographic orgasm 📽
Embrace yourself for the 4 weeks left of curfew.
I recently watched Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and it was insanely trippy! And then, I wondered: Am I tripping without even smoking up? Well, me and other million fans thought so too. It’s not like any Spiderman movie where a guy gets bitten by a spider and gets superpower overnight. It’s suppose to give you hope to fight against your beliefs and learn to control your superpowers. Yeah, I know, deep shits. But what if the guy behind this movie wanted you to feel that way. To feel your cinematographic orgasm. This is why I decided to write about it, before this slips off our radar.
So, bring your attention spam to 3 minutes because this article is really worth it.

The WOW effect. Watch Black Mirror and suddenly it hits you - it being the long-term relationship between society and tech. Go on, watch the 1st episode and tell me that I am not right. It gives you goose bumps. Wake up! The world is not pinky flowers and love at first sights doesn’t exist. It’s a long journey. But in the middle of this wake up call comes the special effect. In less than 30minutes, the creative director brings characters to life, with a unique storytelling and cool animations. This is the moment where I send you a bunch of examples and you tell me if you liked them or not. Well, here it is.
I compiled some cool TV/Movies to watch
My personal favorite is Netflix Explained. In 20 minutes, you get to sleep smarter 🧠
I am not a scientist but I read a lot. I get around a few of basics:
In any normal routine day, your brain memorises 2000 informations per minute. Information that requires emotion and senses to trigger them. A special effect like a car blowing up 💣 + 🚗 can increase these number of information by 90% making the WOW effect 1000 times stronger! Imagine this for 3 hours of Brooklyn 99!
Now it’s time to explain the impossible. When you smoke weed, your senses gets hyper and starts dancing around like puppets🕺🏻. They absorb every single image your eyes capture, they synthesise sounds in a clean library where you’ll be able to remember every song (more powerful than Shazam) This is literally why you are “fucked up”. So, next time you go watch the next James Bond high, think twice.
But then, why all this beautiful science course? Well, creative directors think about all these little details and his job just upgraded: Release emotions. Start crying when your hero you never met dies, start protesting like you never shared your data online, travels like you have all the money in the world. It triggers the most advanced sense human have, art and entertainment: Have the perfect handmade soundtrack for that specific scene of this particular movie. This is exactly why Christopher Nolan’s movies are so famous. The story is super complicated with a bunch of timelines, a badass production team and a strong soundtrack for it. Are creative directors the new job in town? 💼
💣
Dark - more complicated, more blown away
Christopher Nolan’s movies: Interstellar, Inception
All Marvel movies but especially Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool
All Kingsman movies - notice how the camera moves with the fighter 🤺
Ready Player one - live inside a simulation
The Haunting of the Hill House - Watch the S01E06. Every shot was the product of 100 people standing on each others shoulders and having to execute dozens or hundreds of tasks
Speed Racer - Watch the last scene, it’s just something of its own
Spirited Away - Strange stories are the ones that stays for the longer time in your head
Games of Thrones - The last 1h30min war is a movie itself, go watch it before HBO removes it!
Millennials 📽 = 🧠🕺🏻 (+ 🧠🤯) + 🤪
SciFi movies are about travelling to the unknown, discovering new limits. Getting more creative in scripts is a thing now. Have you watched Westworld? I loved it! A mix of religious cult, a world of fantasies and great metaphor of human. For me, Westworld is the Disneyland for adults, the Vegas but in a planet!
At least is what I think, most movies are well written. They relate scenarios, real-life conditions where you could be the hero of that specific story. Like it was written just for you. Of course, it’s marketing bullshit but people sometimes believe it. These stories relate to people. In Daybreak, the story is so well told by all actors that it gives the right amount of strange to catch the non-Zombie fans. It’s funny, cool and still disgusting. You start knowing the characters deeper like never before. And what is Daybreaker? a small budget Netflix movie like any other.

Learn like never before 📽 = 🧠🕺🏻 (+ 🧠🤯) + 🧠 🚀
With podcasts being the favorite learning platforms last year, people voted that movies were actually the new thing now. With Koudetat launching the Netflix of startups, sharing free content that is good is less than an hour is possible, even on tight budget. It’s effective! Remember?
📽 (2000 per minute) * 20 minutes = 🧠 🕺🏻
📽 (2000 per minute) * 60 minutes = 🧠 🕺🏻 + 🧠 🚀

You have 20 minutes between your last email sent and bedtime (if you sleep 😴 ), what are you gonna do? Well, so many choices to choose from actually, a bit too much in my taste! I personally like Netflix Explained by Vox: The problem is brought into light (featuring use cases). They explain why and how its problematic (thanks to timelines and animations). Then, they elaborate great solutions for that original problem and finally, gives you the interpretation you need to trigger your entrepreneur sensuality.
Down to earth is the new Zac Efron’s genius documentary. He shares his compassion to building awareness to water management. At the same time, its a guide book! Tons of product placement is done here but still, it’s very well done and smart. It gives you the sense of flying away from your bubble, especially in Covid19 crisis.
💣
Cartoons: Inside Out, Abominable, Coco, Kubo, Sausage Party 🌭 - every Pixar movie have a thing most kinds remember: happy ending. Well, these little happy endings are incredibly deep sometimes.
Funny movies: Scary Movie 🎃, This is the end 🌋

Walking around Amsterdam is the best experience of your life. You’ll be able to test all kinds of food from different cultures in a very affordable way. Not because Netherlands make good food, it’s just because you are high.
“Munchies” is the world we say when, after smoking weed, start mixing every kind of food together to create something that has no name. A pure creation from your “highness”.
When you are (+ 🦠 🏠 ), Deliveroo and Uber eats boosted, passion economy emerged, e-commerce arrived globally, podcasts became a thing, startup boomed, home schooling got more famous. Also, everyone became a chef, #tutorials.
